- Download Digital Counter Program Self-Extracting Zip File for 2 June 1999 (Version 2.0.0.0)
This is a self-extracting zip file that contains the new program file to display the counts at up to 16 stations. This version runs the thread counting the inputs at a higher priority. The program will appear sluggish because the counting in the background is getting most of the CPU cycles.
A new Data Export utility has also been included to make logging on to the database a simpler task. You can now select ICUniform as the database from the drop down box when logging on to the database.
The calculation for this is as follows:
0.5 ft = 32t*t + v*t + d
d =0 and so does the initial velocity v
Therefore,
0.5 = 32*t*t
0.5/32 = t*t
So t is equal to the square root of 0.5/32 which is 0.125 or 125 milliseconds
Therefore to be safe, the program is set at 50 milliseconds.
After extracting the new IC.EXE file, copy it over the old one and then start it from the desktop shortcut.
