Wengert to Provide WSEasy Sales Force Automation System to Respond First Aid


Killingsworth, CT

Respond First Aid Systems of Killingsworth has selected Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. to provide a customized route sales force automation system for 2 sales representatives. This system will be installed in June and will be interfaced with an existing Peach Tree accounting system. Respond will be using the Intermec-Norand 602 pen computer to equip its route sales force.

Wengert to Provide Supervisory and Control System Upgrade for two Combi Furnaces


Calvert City, Kentucky

ICT Corporation has selected Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. to provide two supervisory and control computer systems for its existing "combi" furnaces. The furnaces are currently being run by Digital Research Concurrent DOS based PC systems. Wengert will provide two new computer systems running Microsoft Windows NT/2000 based applications.

The new applications will provide all of the functionality of the existing systems plus addition control functions for automatic start-up of a furnace after normal weekend shutdowns. The new applications will be written using the Inprise-Borland Delphi package and will include many features that are currently part of Wengert's Bell Annealing Shop Management system.
