Wengert to Provide Automatic Asset Tracking and Inspection System to Mercy Hospital

Mercy Hospital has selected Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. to provide a customized, asset management and inspection system for its facility in Pittsburgh. The system will give each inspector a portable computer to be used to scan items identified by barcodes throughout the hospital. Whenever an asset is scanned, the user (inspector) will enter maintenance information including what needs repaired on the asset. The scans will be uploaded and maintained in a relational database. Reports will be available to be used by the inspector(s) to schedule asset inspections, locate missing assets, etc.
