Wengert Provides Windows 95 Automatic Data Collection Software System for General Press Corporation

Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. has provided an automatic data collection program for General Press Corporation in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. This application, running on a Windows 95 PC, interfaces with the Intermec MaxiScan 2200 fixed mount scanner. It is used to read and verify barcode labels on items in the production process. In addition, it captures the number of parts produced by the operator. The application was written using the Borland Delphi RAD package and was fielded and fully operational in less than 5 days!
