Wengert Delivers Bell Annealing Stack Building and Inventory Control System to US Steel
Fairfield, Alabama
Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. has delivered both BASB optimized stack building software and BACT coil inventory tracking software to US Steel's Fairfiled works. The systems will track coil inventory using hardened PCs with radio frequency ethernet installed in the cranes servicing the annealing area. BASB will be used to build optimized charges for single stack, single row and double row HNX annealing furnaces from coils in inventory. The system is undergoing performance tuning and acceptance testing. The system is expected to be brought into full production in January, 2003.
Wengert Delivers WSEasy Sales Force Automation System to Tucson Safety and Medical Supply

Wengert Software Engineering, Inc. has installed its WSEasy Sales Force Automation system at Tucson Safety and Medical Supply. The system equips two first aid service drivers with the TRGPro Palm Pilot. The system has been interfaced to a QuickBooks Accounting system, which has replaced an older accounting package that is no longer supported by its vendor.
